After you’ve picked up your motorhome off our fully trained staff head east towards the Royal Spa town of Tunbridge Wells. This is an hour’s drive away from Gatwick airport in your motorhome . Why not take a trip to the outdoor ice rink at Calverley grounds, perfect for adults and children alike, booking in advanced is suggested as it does get busy. Once you’ve had a few bumps and falls on the ice jump back into your motorhome and head towards your campsite. Cedar Gables site is situated 20 minutes’ drive from Tunbridge Wells and the pitch fees start at £12.00.


Leave camp for the day in your motorhome and head towards Leeds Castle near Maidstone 40 minutes from Gatwick Between 26th November and the 22nd December the Christmas markets are taking place in the castle where King Henry VIII lived with his first wife Catherine of Aragon. Enjoy local produce and buy traditional festive gifts in this former Norman stronghold. Santa may even make an appearance and treat the little ones. Jump back in your motorhome and head back toward camp for your last night stay.


Jump in your motorhome and head from your campsite towards Folkestone. Head towards the coast at Hythe Station and take the kids on the special Santa trains that run every weekend during December including Christmas Eve. A 30 minute train trip to New Romney begins an hour of festive fun including receiving a gift of Santa himself and whilst there why not visit the model railway exhibition.

On to your last stop over its north up the Kent coast why not travel in your Motorhome via the white cliffs of Dover a world heritage site. Even in the winter sun these cliffs made of chalk look amazing. Head up the coastal road in your campervan towards the coastal town of Ramsgate. Park up for the afternoon and once the sun sets take in the magnificent views over the harbour where the boat owners illuminate their boats and the shop owners do the same.
Spend your final day in Canterbury. Visit the wonderful cathedral and enjoy spending some pennies on the wonderful Christmas market stalls to take back some lovely gifts for your family.
On to your last camp site of your tour Scragged Oak Country Park is located 45 minutes from Gatwick. You can jump in your motorhome and have a lie in before you return it to our depot.
