Pick up your hire vehicle from our Manchester City Centre depot, after an hour’s demonstration from our dedicated staff it’s time to set off into the North Wales countryside in your motorhome.
Bala Lake
This idyllic spot is on the edge of the national Park and offers wonderful views across the 3.7 mile length stretch of this 42m deep lake. Enjoy a relaxing stroll around the lake or take a trip on the narrow gauge railway that runs along the south shore of the lake.
Enjoy a ice cream whilst parked up outside your motorhome and watch the array of wildlife walk up to you as you relax. There is a café and visitor centre on site offering information for the local area.

Blaenau Ffestiniog
This historic mining town famous for quarrying famous welsh slate since the 1800’s is nestled in the centre of Snowdonia national park although is not actually classed as in it due to the quarries. The Welsh slate was mined here until the 1950’s when it was found to be cheaper to get the slate imported from Spain.
Drive your motorhome towards the slate caverns where you can visit and walk through the mines and see how the conditions affected the workers.

For all the thrill seekers the town has just become home to an attraction called Adventure Land. Home to 4 mountain bike courses (our motorhomes have bike racks as well), there is Zip World Titan home to over 8km of zip line wires is the largest zip zone in Europe. Aslo on the site you there is a large trampoline area deep in the caverns, and new this year they have built a roller coaster built on a toboggan run on rails that runs through the forest.

Mount Snowdon
The centre of this national park Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 3,560 ft above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles south of the Scottish Highlands. It has been described as “probably the busiest mountain in Britain as it attracts visitors from far and wide. It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
Park up your hire vehicle in the town of Llanberis and head for rails. The Snowdon Mountain Railway is a narrow gauge rack and pinion mountain railway that travels for 4.75 miles from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon. It is the only public rack and pinion railway in the United Kingdom and after more than 100 years of operation it remains a popular tourist attraction, carrying more than 130,000 passengers annually. Single carriage trains are pushed up the mountain by either steam locomotives or diesel locomotives.

Arrive at the summit and enjoy a nice break at the café whilst enjoying the views, from here also offers some of the most extensive views in the British Isles; on exceptionally clear days, Ireland, Scotland, England, and the Isle of Man are all visible, as well as 24 counties, 29 lakes and 17 islands.
Take a relaxing walk back to your motorhome the easiest way back from the summit get out of you’re walking gear and set off on the next leg of your journey. The Llanberis path is the longest route back but the one with the shallowest gradient this is the most common route taken by less experienced mountain walkers.
